Miguel Mendez, a Dominican Republic, took his young daughter's name Larissa and the Spanish word for sea (mar) and formed 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙧, to suggest the colours of the Caribbean Sea where it was found.⁣

The colour of Larimar also reminds me of the colours surrounding Broome and The Kimberley. 😍 @ Broome, Western Australia
