Amazonite is a natural stone in a very attractive blue or blue green colour and does not undergo any treatment to improve the colour!  

Amazonite  was known ast "Amazon Stone" named after Amazon River Basin in Brazil, although no Amazonite deposits are found there, but in other parts of Brazil.  Countries where the stone can also be found include Australia, United States, India, Namibia, Madagasca and Canada. 

Amazonite is associated with money, luck and overall success, similar to Jade.
